Brief Description
On 13 March 2007, the Attorney-General of Kenya appointed and launched a Multi-Sectoral Task Force on the Implementation of the Sexual Offences Act 2006 to prepare and recommend a National Policy framework and guidelines for the implementation and administration of the Sexual Offences Act 2006, and to propose effective measures to secure acceptable schemes, programs and other mechanisms for the protection, treatment and care of victims of sexual violence as well as the treatment, supervision and rehabilitation of sexual offenders.
